Colistin is a cyclic poly peptide antibiotic and has bactericidal action against selected Gram negative
bacteria.
Indications:
Poultry: Colibacillosis
Salmonellosis
Contra Indications:
Hyper sensitivity to poly mixing. Treatment of infections due to resistant micro organisms.
Administration to bird species not listed under the indications.
Dosage & Administrations:
Orally through drinking water:
Poultry:
Preventive use : 1 gram / 4 litres
Treatment use : 1gram / 2 litres
(or) as advised by a veterinarian.
Note:
Medicated water should be used with in 24 Hours.
